Vessel Security

It is a regrettable fact that in certain areas of the world, the seas are becoming more and more dangerous with vessels of all size coming under attack from pirates looking for anything from a quick buck to holding a crew hostage awaiting significant ransom payment.

As it is likely your vessel will at some time need to transit through these areas we work closely with discrete specialist companies who provide a number of security services ranging from an overview of your route with likely threats and precautions you can take, through to supplying additional manpower who will embark prior to transiting these areas to provide crew training while also being a knowledgeable and visible deterrent to would-be attackers.

e Security

Owners of Yachts have usually earned their fortune by being discrete while protected though a highly secure network of firewalls and e-mail privacy.  Yet when embarked on their boat just how secure is the vessel e-mail or internet system?  Are the same firewalls in place or are all messages being sent over an unsecure satellite network?  Research has shown, it's an important area and not necessarily one that's being run properly.

Fully aware of the importance of secure communications of any type at sea, we can provide guidance and assistance on the way forward to protect the owner and associates from all forms of e security.
