Loan Folio

For those vessels emerging from build in the northern European yards or returning to the same for maintenance, there is a need to purchase additional charts and publications simply for what may be a rare or one-way trip.  However, to save money and more importantly space, Da Gama can provide a 'loan' folio of charts and Sailing Directions. 

This folio will be supplied up-to-date and allows the passage to be conducted without having to order the items at full cost and find storage space on board when the route is complete as you simply return the outfit to us.  Full details can be supplied by contacting us.

Alternatively for those vessels with full programmes, we can put together passage plans of varying size and complexity depending upon your needs and include such things as:

  • Navigational warnings.
  • Daily weather updates.
  • Recommended Agents.
  • General Maritime information.
  • Specific routing from port to port.
  • Weather routing advice and guidance.
  • Recommended bunker stops (with discount prices).
  • Route timings including anticipated port ETA and ETD's.
  • Routes designed to avoid known or high piracy strike positions.
  • Fuel consumption graphs and spreadsheets based on your burn rates.
  • The route in electronic form to put straight into your navigation system.*
  • Vessel and crew security information if you need to pass through high risk areas.
