One fee - many services

Quite simply this is our core business. 

Providing you with access to the full resources of Da Gama and to keep your navigation outfit up-to-date, signing to the annual agreement entitles you to a multitude of services.

Now, new for 2011, having discussed your initial requirements with us, we work out what your likely demands will be over the next 12 months and propose a single fee which not only makes it easier for you to budget but also provides:

  • All weekly loose leaf updates.
  • All electronic navigation software update discs.
  • Any new edition charts to those held in your outfit.
  • Any new edition Admiralty publications to those held in your outfit.
  • All associated outfit package courier fees to your vessel - worldwide.

Furthermore, as part of the annual navigation management contract you'll receive:

  • 24 / 7 navigation support and advice.
  • Assistance and advice with respect to passage planning.
  • Crew training in the use of the automated corrections update software.
  • An annual audit of your charts at the vessel at a time and location to suit.
  • Corrections to your non-operational folios before being returned to you.*
  • All off boat storage of non-operational folios (within fully insured premises).
  • An inclusive initial visit to the vessel by one of our representatives** to catalogue the chart outfit or in the case of a new build / initial supply, to discuss the requirement with the Captain and / or Project Manager.
  • Unique user login to the Da Gama website client area for access to many additional services including, an on-line catalogue, order history and tracking and specific navigation advice and consultancy.

Fully appreciating there are a number of other companies who offer a similar service, Da Gama representatives are mariners themselves who strive to promote safety and abilities.  Working with us you will quickly establish why we are rapidly becoming the preferred agent of many shipping companies and exceed in the quality and professionalism of our products and the relationships we establish with our clients.  No other navigation management company can provide this history, experience or skill.
