CHART OUTFIT SUPPLIES
Working with individual vessels and management companies, we are able to support you with a full outfit of both paper and electronic charts with publications required to achieve flag state regulations as well as any other items forming part of your navigation outfit or safety supplies. CHART
UPDATES
As an agent of 'ChartCo' we supply weekly Notice to Mariners in a downloadable electronic format for the correction and maintenance of your vessel's chart outfit. Furthermore we can provide updates to Transas, C-Map, AVCS, ARCS and many other electronic chart formats with various correction services.
CREW TRAINING
Recognised for our professional skills and abilities, Da Gama provide bespoke training to the crew of ships especially those emerging from build. With tailored training packages for each vessel we work closely with the Captain to develop a short but effective programme to bring crew members together with on board fire refreshers, leadership challenges and Bridge Resource Management.
ECDIS ACCREDITATION
The Electronic Chart Display and Information System (ECDIS) is altering the way mariners will navigate at sea in accordance with IMO regulations. Having stipulated compulsory fitment to certain vessels over the next few years, it is important not only the bridge team are trained correctly, but also the company marine superintendents who will be inspecting the vessel and her crew. With a solid understanding of the subject and involved at regulatory level, Da Gama can assist you in bringing your vessel and crew through to full vessel accreditation.
