Welcome to Da Gama

The Professional Yachtsmen’s Association British Marine Federation Superyacht UK

Our Mission

A company established by Master Mariners, we support the Captain and crew of the Superyacht and Merchant Ship in a number of areas designed to assist in maintaining their safety upon the high seas through crew training and an unsurpassed level of navigation management.

Contact Da Gama

Concentrating in three key areas namely Supply, Training and Consultancy, we are rapidly becoming recognised as a leading company to support the challenges of Superyacht Command.  We recognise time is a precious commodity and to achieve the best for your crew while ensuring the safety of your guests is a time consuming business.  To that end we work with you in bringing out their best while enhancing the safety of the yacht at all times through improved navigation and team work.

The key areas in which we can help you are:

Navigation Specialists

To provide mariners with a competent service it is necessary to understand the complexities seafarers face on a day to day basis.  Our representatives are professional mariners, each with over 23 years sea service.  Trained from junior deck officers to Command, the one area we really understand is Navigation and the importance it deserves.

Navigation Chart Outfit Supplies

Working with both individual vessels and management companies, we are able to support all craft with a full outfit of both paper and electronic charts and publications required to achieve flag state regulations.   As an agent of ‘ChartCo’  we can supply weekly Notice to Mariners in a downloadable electronic format for the correction and maintenance of your vessel's chart outfit.

Crew Training

Recognised for our professional skills and abilities, Da Gama now provide bespoke training to the crew of Superyachts especially those emerging from build.  With tailored training packages for each vessel we work closely with the Captain to develop a short but effective programme to bring crew members together with on board fire refreshers and leadership challenges.
